Nick Places Customers on the Winning Plinth

Customers are valued assets to most businesses. None more so than at Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products UK, which hosts an Annual Awards to acknowledge their customers’ important contributions. This year the event was held 21st April at London’s Ham Yards Hotel and eight awards were presented. Special EFX designed and made the prestigious trophies, which were styled in the shape of a fun SPLAT and fabricated out of nickel plated aluminium and zany orange acrylic.

Amongst the winners were Tesco: Retail Licensing Team of the Year, recognising its renewed focus on character merchandise sales in its stores; products featuring the Paw Patrol plucky pups picked up the award for most Innovative Product and Argos collected the honour of Retail Campaign of the Year for its ‘Everyone’s a Winner’ campaign, which has successfully run for some four year, whilst Spearmark International were presented with the accolade of Licensee of the Year for its Nickelodeon inspired lunch-ware and home-ware ranges.
