5 Unique Designs for Bespoke Wood Awards

Wooden antiques meet modern award design
The shoes last featured in the Drapers Footwear Awards are vintage originals. There were 16 pairs sourced and each was unique, representing a small piece of history from a bygone era. These antique wooden shoe lasts were mounted on an impressive, polished nickel-plated plinth, personalised with digital printing and laser engraving. Old meets new in this unique design for the very best in footwear, and they proved to be a major talking point at the awards.
The logo defines the trophy
Because everything we do is bespoke, we can make it completely your own! The elegant design of these custom wooden awards uses waterjetting techniques to sculpt the logo, and laser engraving on the surface of the wood to personalise each award. Each item is a work of art and feels like a truly prestigious, quality award.
Wood and acrylic awards
The designs below features both wood and acrylic and illustrates just one of the many creative options available when combining wood with other materials. We work with a range of materials to create awards that are truly unique, including acrylics, metals, resin, glass, plastic to name but a few, and wood proves to be a sympathetic complementing material regardless of the combination.
Add a pop of colour to your bespoke wooden award
You might think of wood as traditional, rustic material, but it can in fact be very versatile when it comes to award design. Using sophisticated printing technology, we’re able to get creative with our wooden awards and give them a modern spin.
The base shape of these It’s Our World, Google and New Thinking trophies (above) is a classic shape, which is then embellished by piercing the top right and framing the hole with a stylish, polished nickel-plated ring. The face decoration and sides are digitally printed or laser engraved for additional texture and interest. The result is a beautiful unique award, reflecting the branding and creativity of the event.
Memorable award shapes that communicate a message
One of the joys of wood is that it can be hewn into a myriad of different shapes. These custom wood awards are a striking example of how a powerful shape can feel instantly recognisable and help reinforce the brand and messaging.
